Rahul Gandhi posts '2013 vs 2023' grocery prices list with jibe at Adani
Stepping up the attack against the BJP, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today tweeted a chart comparing the prices of essential items during the UPA government in 2013 with the current rates. The entire focus of the government is on increasing Adani's income and protecting him from investigation,” Gandhi tweeted, attacking the Centre over inflation. According to the chart, the prices of daily essentials, like wheat flour, rice, ghee, sunflower oil, arhar dal and gas cylinders, have increased by over 100 per cent in the last 10 years. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, former Defence Minister AK Antony's son Anil Antony, and former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad found a mention in the tweet.
