39,103 students to appear for SSLC exams in Mysuru district

The SSLC examinations, which will commence on Friday, will be held in 133 centres in the Mysuru district, and as many as 39,103 students will appear for it. In the previous year, Mysuru was ranked seventh in the State, and special efforts have been made this year to improve the position, including conducting special classes in the run-up to the examination, and appointment of resource persons and subject experts whose phone numbers have been shared with the students for clarification of doubts. In a bid to improve the pass percentage, the authorities identified students who were weak in specific subjects and put them through special coaching to help overcome their weakness. In addition, classes were conducted at night with the permission of the parents/guardians of the children who were weak in specific subjects, according to Mr. Javare Gowda.
