Hyderabad:A 39-member Navy Band from the Eastern Naval Command took the audience on a musical journey, during a performance at the Navy House here on Saturday. The event was held as part of Navy Week 2024 celebrations, to commemorate the Indian Navy’s devastating attack on Karachi during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. With Governor Jishnu Dev Varma in attendance, the band played spirited, from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ to Bollywood melodies and classical music. The Navy Band will also perform for the public at Sarath City Mall, Kondapur, Hyderabad, on Saturday.
