Recognizing this, Hohhot has utilized its unique position as a national hub for digital infrastructure – housing key resources such as the "channeling computing resources from the east to the west" node, a major internet interconnection point, and a dedicated international data channel. The city's new data initiative aligns with its policy framework on data governance and public data management, focusing on developing data services, trading, security, and infrastructure. Hohhot plans to cultivate a strong network of data companies and foster collaborative efforts nationwide, ultimately enhancing the application of public data and contributing fresh momentum to the city's sustainable development.
