Miami’s Isaiah Wong enters 2023 NBA Draft: What’s next for the Hurricanes after Final Four run?

New York Times

Miami guard Isaiah Wong will forgo his last year of college eligibility and enter the 2023 NBA Draft, he announced in a video Monday. Wong helped lead Miami to its first Elite Eight appearance in 2021-22 and its first Final Four trip this spring. Poplar didn’t score in the Final Four loss to eventual champion UConn, but he hit double-figures in three of Miami’s first four NCAA Tournament games, looking very much like a potential Wong replacement. Considering the Hurricanes only have one incoming high school recruit — three-star big man Michael Nwoko — Larrañaga and his staff need to add at least one high-impact transfers to compete for another ACC title.
