CM Revanth Reddy starts Musi padayatra from Sangem village
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: After offering special prayers in connection with his birthday at Yadagirigutta temple, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday took part in Musi River rejuvenation sankalpa padayatra starting from Sangem to highlight ill-effects of Musi River, one of the most polluted rivers in the country, on people’s health and fertile land. Revanth Reddy came to Sangem from Yadagirigutta and offered prayers at the village’s historic Bheema Lingeshwara Swamy temple. Revanth Reddy came to Sangem after reviewing the pending development projects around the temple with officials of Yadadri Temple Development Authority. Revanth Reddy’s padayatra along with local farmers from the Musi catchment area was aimed at bringing attention to the pollution challenges plaguing the river.
