Falling for the third consecutive session, Zomato share price cracked 5 per cent in morning trade on the BSE on Wednesday, January 22. On January 20, the company reported a 57.3 per cent decline in its net profit to ₹59 crore for Q3FY25, compared to ₹138 crore in the corresponding period last year. Zomato's revenue from operations rose 64.4 per cent to ₹5,405 crore in Q3, compared to ₹3,288 crore in the year-ago period. Brokerage firm JM Financial, which has a buy call on the stock with a target price of ₹280, pointed out that in Q3, Blinkit not only exceeded the 1,000 stores count but also stepped up plans to reach the 2,000 stores target by December 2025, ahead of earlier guidance of December 2026.
