Covid-19: Four more Omicron variant cases detected in Maharashtra
India TodayFour more patients have been diagnosed with the Omicron variant in Maharashtra, taking the total tally of infections from the new Covid-19 variant in the state to 32. As per the report given by the National Institute of Virology on Wednesday, out of the four patients, two are from Maharashtra's Osmanabad and one patient each from Mumbai and Buldhana. READ: What you need to know about Omicron today According to preliminary information, the patients from Osmanabad travelled to Sharjah and the other patient is his high-risk contact. Out of the 32 confirmed cases of the Omicron variant in Maharashtra, 13 are from Mumbai, 10 from Pimpri-Chinchwad, two each from Pune Municipal Corporation and Osmanabad and one each from Kalyan-Dombivali, Nagpur, Latur, Vasai-Virar and Buldhana.
