Indian Aviation Regulator DGCA Performs Best Under Audit of ICAO

Indian aviation regulator Director General of Civil Aviation has performed best under the oversight audit program of the International Civil Aviation Organisation. India has done extremely well and our scores will see a substantial improvement putting us in the company of nations with the best safety standards and oversight systems. Under the International Civil Aviation Organisation, Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme Continuous Monitoring Approach, an AICAO Coordinated Validation Mission was undertaken from November 9 to 16, 2022. ICAO’s Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme focuses on a State’s capability in providing safety oversight by assessing whether the State has implemented the critical elements of a safety oversight system effectively and consistently.
