Tamil Nadu schools to compensate holidays with Saturday classes

ADDRESSING LOST INSTRUCTIONAL TIME Minister Poyyamozhi acknowledged that the prolonged holidays would result in a loss of approximately four hours per subject. REQUEST FOR PARTICIPATION IN SCHOOL GAMES Regarding the suspension of the chief inspector of physical education and the issue of school games, Minister Poyyamozhi explained that the state has requested permission to participate in the games. By rescheduling school days and compensating for lost instructional time, Tamil Nadu aims to ensure the continuity of education despite the challenges posed by the hot weather conditions.
