Human hope in the age of AI
ABCThe development of generative AI has opened a lot of questions about who we are as humans. Dr Stephen Garner is a Senior Research Fellow at Laidlaw College, the largest interdenominational Christian College in New Zealand. He researches theology in dialogue with science, technology, and new media, and regularly writes and speaks about Christianity and AI. He’s on the board of the Global Network for Digital Theology, and a keynote speaker at the 2024 ISCAST Conference on Science and Christianity, from 29 November, in Sydney. Venerable Dr Juewei Shi is a member of the Fo Guang Shan order, and Director of Nan Tien Institute’s Humanistic Buddhism Centre, and Head of Program for the Institute’s Applied Buddhist Studies and Humanistic Buddhism programs.
