'Turn Jan Suraj into political party': Members asks Prashant Kishor to contest 2024 Lok Sabha polls

The members of poll strategist Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Abhiyan held a district level meeting in Bihar's West Champaran on Sunday and voted in favour of Kishor to form his own political party. The convention was held at Maharani Janki Kunwar College in Bettiah on the 43rd day of Prashant Kishore’s padyatra, where the organisers voted to turn Jan Suraj Abhiyan into a political party. Out of 2,887 participants who participated in the convention from across 18 blocks in West Champaran, 2808 voted in favour of Prashant Kishor to form his own political party. While addressing the convention, Prashant Kishor hit out at the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar-led Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar and even the Bharatiya Janata Party.
