Tea awards screening held The 20th edition of The Golden Leaf India Awards : Southern Tea competition conceived by UPASI in collaboration with Tea Board of India has received 165 entries from 45 estates/companies from various tea growing regions in south India. The first-level screening of teas for the 20th edition of TGLIA was held on March 7 and 8 in Coimbatore coinciding with the national convention of South Indian Teas, said the TGLIA organising committee convenor Arunkumar, in a press release. The CTC category teas were evaluated by Manoj Gangadharan of Tata Consumer Products, Rajeev Baid of Aman Tea Distributors, Sachin Dholakia of Siewert & Dholakia Overseas, Sanjay Shah of Amar Tea, and Soman of Forbes, Ewart & Figgis Ltd.
