Facebook removes over 540 million exposed user records stored on Amazon's servers

Just last month, it was reported that Account passwords of nearly 600 million Facebook users, that were stored in plain text, were accessible by over 20,000 Facebook employees. And now nearly two weeks later, a smilar report suggesting that millions records of Facebook users were exposed on Amazon's servers. According to a Bloomberg report, researchers at UpGuard, which is a cybersecurity firm, have discovered over 540 million records of users' Facebook interactions left exposed online by third-parties on Amazon's cloud computing servers. As per the report, Cultura Colectiva openly stored nearly 540 million records of Facebook users' data detailing information such as their account names, reactions, likes, comments and even their Facebook Ids.
