What Margot, Emma, Ruby and Zac are doing while they have COVID-19 at Christmas
ABCAs Australia enters its third COVID-19 Christmas, a rise in case numbers has seen many dinners, drinks and work parties set aside for another holiday season. Emma still felt the holiday spirit with a number of her friends pitching in to drop off "treats", even receiving a voucher for groceries so she can afford to make herself Christmas lunch. "The sad thing is not even missing Christmas but missing all those moments of festivities and I guess that's why going around so much as well, because it is this time where we all try to come together and it's the first year in a while we've actually been able to have those gatherings," she says. " Margot — like Zac, Ruby and Emma — has several friends who are going to be spending Christmas Day with COVID-19, and most everyone she knows is going to be self-isolating. "We're having Christmas Day outside and we've let all of my family members know that I have COVID-19 — hopefully when I do a test, it'll come back negative," she says.
