Electronics body IESA join hands with TiE to promote IoT start-ups
IESA and TiE will establish an ecosystem to promote exchange of ideas and information and foster entrepreneurial action on IoT activity in Bangalore and to facilitate networking and mentoring amongst peer groups. The Indus Entrepreneurs has signed a MoU with IESA to promote start-ups and entrepreneurs in fabless semiconductor and electronic products in the IoT or connected devices space. TiE Bangalore will identify, discover emerging start-ups in the IoT space to nurture and help them grow through TiE mentoring, EAP programme and also get them access to angels and VCs for funding. IoT SIG will be running regular events, expert talks, workshops and show case of emerging IoT start-ups over the course of the year to understand the opportunities in this space for entrepreneurs and also to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, tech experts, IoT practitioners, large corporate and investors to come together and ideate, cross leverage, share and network.
