The Maharashtra Government recently decided to reduce the maximum court fees to be paid by widows on probate of a Will or Letters of Administration, from Rs 75,000 to Rs 10,000 to be filed in Civil Court.As per a notification, issued on August 7 by the State Revenue and Forests Department, the government has reduced the fees to be paid by widows under the Maharashtra Court Fees.
