White most preferred colour choice among Indian car buyers in 2018

White remained the preferred colour choice among the Indian passenger vehicle buyers in 2018, with 43 per cent of the new cars produced in the country donning the shade. While white accounted for the most popular colour choice among car buyers with 43 per cent share, grey and silver came in at a distant second spot with 15 per cent share each. Among the chromatic colours, red made up 9 per cent share of all the new cars produced in India in 2018, followed by blue at 7 per cent. So far as basic car segment is concerned, here also white triumphed over others with 35 per cent share, followed by grey and silver, red, blue and brown and orange.
