Telegram rolls out one-on-one video calls for Android and iOS

Telegram has rolled out an end-to-end encrypted video calling feature for Android and iOS in its alpha version. "2020 highlighted the need for face-to-face communication, and our alpha version of video calls is now available on both Android and iOS," Telegram noted in its blog post. Telegram noted that the video calls also enable the picture-in-picture option so that users can multitask while being active on the video calls. As of now, the video calling feature is only available for one-on-one video calls but it will soon be made available to group video calls, Telegram noted.
