Poor facilities disrupt classes of OU students

Despite the commencement of classes on October 16, 2024, many students were unable to attend classes until after Diwali as the hostel mess was not operational and neither was the Wi-Fi fixed. The hostel administration should speed up the scheduling process to prevent students from missing valuable classes," said Sushma, a student from Bhadradri Kothagudem. Uday Kiran, a student of Osmania Arts College, said, “The delay in the hostel accommodation process is the same every year, and the process of applying for the hostels after the commencement of classes is a major drawback for all the students coming from distant places.” “There’s a shortage of rooms in the hostels, due to which we’re accommodating three to four students per room.
