Sonu Nigam on AR Rahman: Great composer but not a great singer

Singer Sonu Nigam, who has often collaborated with music composer and singer AR Rahman, said that while Rahman is a 'great composer', he isn't a 'great singer'. In an interview, Sonu also mentioned that the Oscar-winning composer has a 'beautiful' voice texture but has never claimed to be a great singer. His voice might not be great, but he is always in sur because he is AR Rahman," added Sonu, who has worked with Rahman on songs like Satrangi Re, Ishq Bina, Guzarish, and several others. Sonu Nigam also shared that AR Rahman is a very secure music composer and once allowed him to compose a part of the Jodha Akbar song Inn Lamhon Ke Daaman Mein.
