Delhi HC refuses to intervene in interview process of St Stephen’s College
The Delhi high court on Wednesday refused to intervene and stay the process of the interview panel in reference to the admission of Christian students in St Stephen’s College. The person would be part of the governing body as per the constitution of the St Stephen College, Delhi. Three teachers of St Stephen's College namely Abhishek Singh, N.P.Ashley, and Nandita Narain had approached the Delhi high court against the inclusion of a member of institution's supreme council in the interview panel for selection of Christian students. When you have outsiders carrying out selection process then it is a violation.” According to the decision, an additional Christian member nominated by the supreme council would be a part of the interview panel in respect of admission of Christian students in all subjects.”
