Not six, 160 programmes implemented by Cong. govt in one year: CM

The Hindu

HYDERABAD The government has successfully implemented 160, and not six, programmes over the last one year after coming to power, said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday. In tune with its aim of providing a ‘People’s Governance’, the Congress government did not confine itself to the six guarantees it had promised before the Assembly election in 2023, but had taken up 160 programmes for the all round development and welfare of people of Telangana, Mr. Reddy said. In a note released by the Chief Minister’s Office, Mr. Reddy said that his government’s top priority is the comprehensive development of the State, with focus on the welfare of the needy. As government celebrates one year of Congress rule, it is committed to take up more welfare programmes, Mr. Reddy said.
