Coronavirus lockdown update: TVS Motor Company commences manufacturing operations in India

TVS Motor Company has commenced manufacturing operations in India, across its factories located in Hosur, Mysuru and Nalagarh. According to TVS Motor Company, it has undertaken "exhaustive" measures to ensure safety of the employees at all the manufacturing facilities with "appropriate social distancing and highest standards of hygiene". In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, TVS Motor Company had suspended all the manufacturing operations at its plants in India and Indonesia in March 2020 and provided work from home facility to all the relevant employees. Although the two-wheeler manufacturer has resumed operations at its factories across India, it is still giving the work from home option to certain employees, in adherence to the respective state government guidelines.
