Minister inaugurates health vans by A.P. Mineral Development Corporation

The Hindu

Minister for Mines and Geology Kollu Ravindra on Friday inaugurated buses equipped with medical facilities introduced by the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation. The health buses are part of the Corporate Responsibility Scheme and aim at providing better healthcare to the underprivileged. The Minister said the APMDC has already been providing essential services like healthcare and education in mining areas and is now bringing advanced mobile health services to the people with an investment of ₹1 crore. The Corporate Responsibility Scheme was neglected between 2019 and 2024, and during that time, there was a clear lack of focus on public health and wellbeing, he said, adding that the scheme would be reinstated.
