Uttar Pradesh CM directs officials to run buses from all districts for 2025 Maha Kumbh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday issued directions for operating buses from all districts of the State to Prayagraj so that people can bathe in the Sangam during the 2025 Mahakumbh. Mr. Adityanath issued directive in a meeting with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation officials to review preparations for the grand event. The UPSRTC is planning to deploy 7,000 buses for the Maha Kumbh with 550 shuttle buses dedicated to the fairgrounds for easy mobility within the area. Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh, the principal secretary of Transport, the principal secretary to the Chief Minister, and the managing director of the UPSRTC were present in the meeting.
