Regardless of Australia's latest drinking trends, Mr Horne said the charm of the country pub can not be replaced. "What's so beautiful and wonderful about them is the hospitality because most pubs, particularly in regional areas, are owner operated … a welcoming place when everything else in the country can be shut," Mr Horne said. "Many of these brewers are … fabulous pubs, they've got a great bar, they've got lots of nostalgia around the product, they've got great presentation," Mr Horne said.
