Vidya Reddy of Tulir, Centre for the Prevention and Healing of Child Sexual Abuse, a non-governmental organisation that has been playing a proactive role in intervention and rehabilitation processes in cases of child sexual abuse, told Frontline that the move was not just a police station’s usual “ticking the box” procedure without thought or sensitivity.
