Coronavirus Lockdown extension: Impact on Board exams and entrance exams
India TodayPrime Minister Narendra Modi just announced the extension of Pan-India lockdown till May 3, 2020, to curb the spread of Coronavirus Pandemic. Well, to put in simple terms, schools, colleges, and institutes will remain closed till May 3, 2020, Board exams are further postponed, due to this board results will for many states will also get further postponed. Karnataka panel has also suggested extending lockdown at the hot spots beyond April 14, 2020, along with shutting all schools and colleges till May 31, 2020. With this, a group of ministers has also suggested that all the educational institutions should remain closed till May 15, 2020, so as to stop the spread of Coronavirus Outbreak.
