IndiGo pilot instigated man who hit him, claims co-passenger

An air passenger was arrested on Monday morning after he attacked a pilot of an IndiGo aircraft while he was making an announcement regarding a delay in take-off at the Delhi airport. Speaking to India Today TV, a fellow passenger of IndiGo flight 6E-2175, between Delhi and Goa, claimed that despite over 12 hours' delay, the co-pilot was putting blame on passengers. "Despite staying inside the aircraft for over 12 hours, the co-pilot was alleging passengers were queuing-up with questions, causing more delay for ground staff in coordination," the passenger said while sharing the ordeal. While several people urged actions against the accused passenger, others highlighted the frustration amongst passengers, citing a stream of complaints against IndiGo over issues such as cancellations and excessive delays.
