Who is Aakash Chaudhry? Zerodha, Zomato founders bet on Sparkl Edventure

Aakash Chaudhry, a well-known name in India’s education sector, has raised $4 million for his new venture, Sparkl Edventure. Investors include Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal and Zerodha founder Nithin Kamath, who have backed the platform that aims to transform personalised learning for students. Sparkl, launched just two months ago, is Chaudhry’s major project since the $1 billion sale of his previous firm, Aakash Educational Services Limited, to Byju’s in 2021. Chaudhry, who serves as founder and managing director of Sparkl, said the platform’s mission is to deliver one-on-one, personalised tutoring tailored to the unique needs of each student.
