Satya Kumar Assures NDA’s Support to Aiims for Development

Vijayawada: Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav assured all support of the NDA-alliance government for development of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Mangalagiri. Satya Kumar offered the help when Mangalagiri AIIMS’ new director Prof. Ahanthem Santa Singh called on the minister at the Secretariat here on Friday. As AIIMS is having only 650 beds against the sanctioned strength of 965 beds, the minister advised the institute’s new director to initiate necessary measures to enhance the bed strength. Satya Kumar criticised the previous YSR Congress regime for failing to provide even drinking water facilities at the AIIMS.
