News 18A water leakage has been reported at the main dome of Taj Mahal after incessant rainfall lashed parts of Agra for the past three days. Superintending Chief of the Archaeological Survey of India, Agra circle, Rajkumar Patel said to news agency PTI, “Yes, we have witnessed the leakage in the main dome of the Taj Mahal. We have checked the main dome through a drone camera.” A local resident, who works as a government approved tour guide, had said that Taj Mahal is the pride of Agra and the entire nation, adding that it provides employment to hundreds of locals and those who are working in the tourism industry.
