Dead Space 2 Demo Dropping this Month

Grab a slice of Dead Space 2’s single player campaign via a demo on the 21st of December 2010. Borrowing certain ideas from Event Horizon and the Doom series, Dead Space was a horrifying romp on a derelict spaceship in deep space where no one could hear you scream. And now it seems EA has upped the ante with Dead Space 2 by introducing tons of new stuff, a taste of which you can get in the single player demo that’s about to hit Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network by the 21st of December 2010. Those include the Javelin gun, enhanced telekinesis, the new stasis recharge mechanic, and the advanced suit that allows you to move in any direction when the area you’re in lacks gravity.” The reason I’ve specified “single player” is because developer Visceral Games have implemented a multiplayer component in this game as EA want pretty much all of their games to have some sort of versus play.
