On Saturday, Cordero’s wife Amanda Kloots explained on her Instagram Story that she and her husband had received “difficult news”. “We took him off blood thinners but that again was going to cause some clotting in the right leg, so the right leg will be amputated today,” Kloots said. On Thursday, Kloots said on Instagram: “I’m exhausted and so tired, and we are doing our best over here to hold down the fort.” A number of Cordero’s friends have used social media to express their love for the actor, sharing videos alongside the hashtag #WakeUpNick.
