Andhra Pradesh approves Rs 24,276 crore for Amaravati infrastructure projects
India TodayThe Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority, chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has approved infrastructure projects worth Rs 24,276 crore for the development of greenfield capital Amaravati, Municipal Minister P Narayana announced on Monday. "The 43rd CRDA meeting approved Rs 24,276 crore funds for the construction of trunk roads, layouts, and iconic bhavans in Amaravati capital," he stated. Additionally, Narayana announced the construction of five more towers at a cost of Rs 4,688 crore, covering a total area of 69 lakh square feet. Out of the approved Rs 24,276 crore, Rs 9,699 crore has been earmarked for four main roads stretching 580 kilometres, while Rs 7,794 crore will be allocated for trunk roads and other facilities.
