TTD's Sri Padmavati Children\'s Heart Centre Performs 2,030 Heart Surgeries in 2 Years
Deccan ChronicleTirupati: The Sri Padmavati Children's Heart Centre, run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, has performed as many as 2,030 heart surgeries, including eight heart transplants, in the past two years. Sharing this, TTD executive officer AV Dharma Reddy said the Heart Care Centre for infants was established in October 2021, as recommended by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. By now, this children's hospital has maintained an impressive 95 per cent success rate in heart surgeries and is hailed as one of the most popular and best paediatric healthcare centres in the country.” Its medical procedures are covered under the Aarogyasri and the Union Government’s various health schemes. TTD EO Dharma Reddy interacted with some heart transplant patients who benefited from the services of the Sri Padmavati Children's Heart Centre.
