Gmail for Android and iOS gets a new redesign based on Material Design language
Last year Google had made some massive UI changes to Gmail in an effort to make it more user-friendly. There’s a new interface haul in progress for Gmail on both iOS and Android devices and Google has said that the redesign is being undertaken to make its G Suite apps “look and act like a family of products”. This isn’t the first overhaul of Gmail in recent times as last year Google had made some massive UI changes to its email service in an effort to make it more user-friendly. Google’s latest overhaul of Gmail is being done keeping in mind the updated Material Design language that the company has been trying to implement across its various applications. As per the report, Google will be updating all its G suite apps for mobile devices based on the Material Design language by the end of the year.
