Pawan Kalyan slams global silence on Hindu persecution: Why are activists mum?
India TodayAndhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, in an interview with India Today TV, addressed a range of issues, including the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, the necessity of a Sanatan Board, his public display of religious identity, and the governance of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. It's unfair to keep targeting one religion with no repercussions," Kalyan said, calling for Hindus to stop being overly tolerant. The actor-turned-politician also criticised the "double standards" in public discourse, saying, "Nobody dares to crack jokes about any other religion". "100% believe that non-Hindus should not be part of Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanams," he said, comparing the situation to Mecca and the Vatican, where non-Muslims and non-Christians are not allowed governance roles.
