Disappointing to see no special allocations for A.P. in Budget: A.P. Chambers

The Hindu

Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation applauded the Union government for taking measures to boost consumption and welcomed the new tax slabs that will reduce burden on the middle class. Chambers’ president Potluri Bhaskara Rao said while it was a progressive budget, it was disappointing that there were no special announcements for Andhra Pradesh and Amaravati. We have been asking the Union government to set up a national institute such as Central Food Technological Research Institute, and Coconut, Banana and Mango Boards in Andhra Pradesh. MSME Industries Association president Bayana Venkat Rao appreciated the initiative to increase credit guarantee cover for MSMEs from ₹10 crore to ₹20 crore for startups.
