'We'll do whatever it takes to win': New EU leaders visit Kyiv to reassure Ukraine

European Council President Antonio Costa and EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas arrived in Kyiv to reassure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the EU would support for Ukraine for as long as necessary in the war with Russia. ‘As long as necessary, whatever it takes’ Costa and Kallas pledged unconditional support to Ukraine’s victory in the war with Russia. The European Union will continue to stand with Ukraine.” In a separate post in which she shared glimpses of the meeting with Zelenskyy, Kallas reiterated the EU’s “concrete” support to Ukraine’s defence.
