Aadhav Arjuna who equated ally DMK with monarchy quits VCK party
India TodayViduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi deputy general secretary Aadhav Arjuna, who previously commented that the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Tamil Nadu, resigned from the party on Sunday evening. “I don’t have any difference of opinion with the ideology of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi,” he wrote, adding “The thoughts that stemmed out of me due to valid anger over the welfare of the people have now turned into points of debates. Aadhav Arjuna created a political storm when, at a book launch on December 6, he allegedly targeted DMK when he said that a party which claimed to be the champion of social justice was following monarchy. This Even before the monarchy comment, Aadhav courted controversy when he claimed that alliance parties couldn’t be content with only seat sharing, they needed power sharing.
