Jomana, a Syrian mother of four, prepares meals for visitors to Dad’s House, a community food bank and support centre in West Brompton William, 66, who is retired, started coming to the food bank about three months ago. Only an hour away in West Brompton, mother-of-four Jomana was busy cooking food in the kitchen of Dad’s House, a community food bank and support centre. Millions of people have benefited from food banks like Dad’s House “There’s no stigma coming here,” she said. Like Kingston food bank, Dad’s House has seen an increase in need over recent months, with a particular rise from July to August.
