Read our privacy policy Michelle ­Collins is set to return to EastEnders as Cindy Beale 25 years after her character was killed off, according to reports. News of the characters’ return was reported by The Sun on Friday with one source saying: “It’s going to be a bombshell.” According to the tabloid, the pair have already begun filming. Adam Wood­yatt and Michelle ­Collins as Ian and Cindy Beale in ‘EastEnders’ In a 2019 interview, Collins shut down the possibility of a comeback. “Obsessed with EastEnders bringing Cindy Beale back from the dead even though they had her sending messages from beyond the grave before and it just turned out to be her weirdo son – the fact she’s been alive the whole time is cracking me up,” wrote another.
