LG Velvet design and key specs confirmed ahead of May 15 launch

LG's next flagship, called the LG Velvet, has been shown off by the company in full in a video. As such, the design of the device could be one of the LG Velvet's main selling points. The teaser video which is 35 seconds long as is currently available on the company's YouTube page confirms the presence of the 3.5mm jack and Snapdragon 765G on the phone. The LG Velvet could very likely be much like the LG G9, but LG could be scrapping the G naming scheme to give its phones more meaningful names and highlight their core features -- which in this case happens to be the device's velvety design. The phone is tipped for a May 15 launch, so it shouldn't be too long before we finally get to know more about the new LG smartphone.
