
Udayagiri incident: CM chairs meeting
The HinduIn the aftermath of a stone-throwing incident outside the Udayagiri police station in Mysuru, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday convened a meeting of senior officers at Kaveri in Bengaluru and issued necessary directions to them. Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, and other senior officers were present. During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the district administration and the city police to ensure such incidents do not happen again, and take precautionary measures accordingly. “Those responsible for disturbing the peace in the locality need to be acted upon as per the law,” said Mr. Siddaramaiah, adding that whoever was involved in the stone-throwing incident on the police and the station should be held accountable.
