Padmaja Venugopal, Congress leader and daughter of former Chief Minister K. Karunakaran, on Friday alleged that five ‘active politicians’ were behind the conspiracy of the ISRO spy case and she would disclose their names before the judicial committee announced by the Supreme Court if she was given an opportunity. Addressing the media here, she said: “ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan was made a scapegoat in a plot aimed at Karunakaran. I am happy about the verdict in favour of Nambi Narayanan.” The political conspiracy behind the case had still not been revealed. The investigation would bring out the role of many people, who think they were safe now, Ms. Venugopal said.
