CM Jagan Plays Down Threat from TD and JS in Next Elections
Vijayawada: Reasserting that the YSRC is the heartbeat of the poor, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy came down heavily on the Telugu Desam and Jana Sena on Friday, saying there is no noticeable threat from the TD and JS to his party in the next round of elections. “The YSRC will, all alone, take on the pack of political wolves in the next elections after 10 months.” Addressing a huge public meeting at Mallayapalem in Gudivada on Friday, the Chief Minister said that the opposition parties “do not have even candidates.” Do not equated these parties with the YSRC that took its birth from the aspirations of the people, he said. He said, “The politics of the YSRC is linked to the aspirations of the people while TD and Jana Sena are engaged in political gimmicks and mischievous and malicious campaigns with help from their friendly media.” Coming down heavily on Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, the CM said the package star, who has sacrificed his life for serving the TD, is drawing immense pleasure out of it from his Varahi vehicle. “15 years after forming his political party, the Jana Sena leader is unabashedly claiming that he would enter the Assembly after the next elections and that no one can stop him,” said the Chief Minister, mocking at Pawan’s recent statements.
