Andhra Pradesh: ITDA ready to meet coffee bean collection targets 2,000 tonnes
Deccan ChronicleVisakhapatnam: The Integrated Tribal Development Agency is taking decisive steps to boost coffee bean collection and restore coffee cultivation across 10,300 acres. A meeting held on Thursday at the ITDA conference hall brought together coffee Agricultural Extension Officers, field consultants, horticulture consultants and the Chintapalli Max Society’s president and Board directors. During the meeting, Abhishek emphasised on collecting at least 2,000 tonnes of coffee beans from the 11 mandals under ITDA’s jurisdiction. ITDA assistant project officer Venkateswara Rao, assistant director of coffee N. Ashok, Max Society president Seggi Kondala Rao, vice-president Gam Simhachalam and other Board directors participated in the meeting.
