BJP’s Kishan Kapoor, who won with a huge margin of 477623 votes from Kangra, got the highest vote share of 72.02 percent among individual party candidates in the state. Congress candidates were far behind their BJP rivals in all seats in terms of vote share with Ram Lal Thakur getting 28.63 percent of the votes in Hamirpur, Dhani Ram Shandil 27.3 percent in Shimla, Aashray Sharma 25.68 percent in Mandi and Pawan Kajal 24.59 percent in Kangra.
